PU-MaX - Highly Flexible PU mounts for extreme shock load and acoustic sensitive applications
New VULKAN PU-MaX shock mounts for extreme shock deflections up to total 120 mm in 4 sizes ranging from 0,85 kN to 17 kN vertical nominal load.
The VULKAN highly flexible PU-MaX mountings are particularly suitable for ship drives, diesel generators and auxiliary equipment.
Due to the excellent performance data of the PU foam, the VULKAN PU-MaX mountings are particularly suitable for applications in which a high level of structure-borne noise insulation is required.
Static loads in the working range allow vertical deflections of up to 20 mm and produce a vertical natural frequency less than 5 Hz. This provides a high level of isolation against low frequency vibrations and shock accelerations (<10g).
They are developed to meet BV0230 rules.
