After 35 years of activity in the historic Novi Ligure headquarters in Italy, VULKAN has put down roots in the coastal region of north-western Italy and has set up a new presence in Genoa, the Italian center of navy, pleasure and commercial shipping. This new facility marks a significant step forward in VULKAN’s commitment to innovation and customer service.
At the heart of the Genoa site is a state-of-the-art laboratory designed to test hybrid propulsion systems in real-world conditions. Equipped with dedicated test rooms for batteries, Power Management Systems (PMS), and gensets, the lab enables full validation of customer-specific configurations.
Thanks to this infrastructure, VULKAN can deliver engineered and pre-tested solutions that are not only reliable, but also significantly reduce commissioning time and sea trials. This means faster deployment, fewer uncertainties, and greater confidence for shipyards and operators.
